If your boat contains adhesive backed decals, stripes, or signs, 3M and Avery who make the material for these products, specifically state not to use a wax containing petroleum distillates. They dissolve the adhesive causing the decal to pull away from the side and also cause them to oxidize or loose their color. You can safely use Advantage to clean these graphics. It will help prevent oxidation and discoloration
Remove oxidation on lettering by buying a bottle of Dow or Lysol Tub and Tile Cleaner. Or you can use CleanEz Spray on the lettering wait a few minutes and wipe to remove the oxidation. Most of the color will be restored.
