Should your clothes begin to appear yellow or gray chances are you have been using regular household bleach. Chlorine bleach will turn the whitest of whites a dingy color after repeated launderings. To brighten them fill the washer will cool water and add 2 cups hydrogen peroxide and half the normal amount of detergent. Add the clothes allowing them to soak for 30 minutes. Continue the wash cycle.
If after 30 minutes the clothes still appear yellow, add more peroxide to the water and continue soaking for another 30 minutes.
