Distressed Conditioner helps soften and restore dry leather or vinyl to prevent further damage and cracking. It is not designed to clean leather and vinyl or to deep condition and soften the material.

First clean and lightly condition leather/vinyl with our Leather and Vinyl Cleaner and Conditioner. There may be situations when the grime is deeply imbedded in the grain and requires more serious surgery. This trick can only be done one time as repeated use of the cleaner will cause the leather/vinyl to dry and crack. First place plastic under your chair or couch or move the furniture to the garage. Use a foaming tub and tile cleaner and spray the area to be cleaned. Wait until the foam begins to water then quickly wipe.

Rinse with one-quarter cup of white vinegar per quart of water. Allow to dry. Then apply the Distressed Conditioner following bottle directions. A second application will provide weatherproofing if needed. A month later follow with our Leather Cleaner/Conditioner.

For best results long term, apply the Distressed Leather once yearly then the Leather Cleaner every four months to prevent further cracking and prevent the grime from building up once again.
