Paste Wax

Follow the general stain removal guide.

Do take warning if you attempt to remove paste wax from an automobile, the petroleum distillates will also remove the original sealant.

Paste wax needs a strong cleaner to dissolve the residue. Our TerraPlus, an industrial strength cleaner, works quickly, safely and effectively to remove all kinds of wax, oil or grease.

Generously blot on the cleaner. You only need to let TerraPlus set a few minutes then blot to remove. Do not rub to remove, reapply the cleaner if necessary. Then rinse thoroughly with 1/4 cup white vinegar per quart of water.

Hardwood floors: Call a company specializing in restoring hardwood floors. If paste wax has been applied to the wrong type of floor finish it has damaged the finish and needs professional care.
