Petroleum Jelly

Read the general stain removal guide.

Remove petroleum jelly immediately. It is an oil based product. The longer it sets the more difficult to remove the stain, which means it could become permanent.

Clothing: Blot and apply TerraPlus then wait 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse and repeat if necessary.

Wood: Blot off what you can taking care not to spread the jelly. Pour on some cornstarch and wait an hour. Sweep off and repeat if needed. Rinse with a barely damp towel. If any jelly remains blot with our liquid dish soap, wait 5 minutes then rinse with vinegar and water.

After the wood has dried treat it with Mary Moppins Wood Cleaner and Conditioner.
