Blood

Carpet: Rinse with cool water. Then spray with straight hydrogen peroxide. Wait 30 to 45 seconds then blot with vinegar and water.  Repeat if necessary. As the blood releases from the carpet fibers it will begin seeping deeper into the carpet. Blot continuously.

Clothing: flush immediately with cool water. Then soak in cool water for 5 minutes. Rinse and spray on hydrogen peroxide if needed.

To remove bloodstains if the garment has gone through the dryer: soak the stain in straight hydrogen peroxide. Rinse with a vinegar and water solution and again in cool water. Air dry. Always test a spot first for color fastness.
